About

Inspired from my Father Srinivasa chary who is a vocalist and a devotional composer and mother Vijaya Lakshmi a music lover and a home Maker who always wanted her kids to learn music and she made us learn music since childhood that’s-how my musical journey started.

I Learned Carnatic violin from most renowned institution from Hyderabad The Aarabhi Violin school under the guru Dr Ashok G Gurjale garu and Western From Jhon Marthande.

I'm always active on social media posting unplugged cover songs on violin on regular intervals thats how I ended up getting the first opportunity to play for film called RX100 by Chaitan Bharadwaj.

I played all the 4 songs in the very first film along with the background score.

Performed more than 10000 live shows across India and abroad and performed along with popular music composers like Sri
charan Pakala ,chaithan Bharadwaj Anup Rubens ,Prashanth Vihari , Thaman S S , Daboo Mallik(Bollywood) and played solo violin for almost 25 Telugu films

Now debuting as a music composer
for the upcoming film The Accident featuring Actor divi (soon will be out in theatres or OTT platform already released in USA Amazon prime.
Also I’m quite active on social media platforms like Instagram @gautamrajviolinist and YouTube @stringswithgautamraj with quite a good number for covers.
Currently working on My own Independent instrumentals with the name BowandCompose to create my own setlist and all this will be available in digital platforms like YouTube Spotify Gaana.
I’m also a lead violinist for popular Hyderabad band called Aarohi.
And also i have been associated as a full time lead violinist for the popular music composer Sricharan Pakala project.
